A Message from the Executive Producer Alan Rubens
As Executive Producer of the Malt Shop Memories Cruise, I constantly face the challenge of trying to make each year’s cruise measure up and hopefully surpass the fun and excitement of the previous years. With Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons, Dionne Warwick, Ronnie Spector, The Lettermen, The Miracles, Girls Night Out featuring Shirley Alston Reeves, The Crystals & The Chiffons, The Skyliners, The Brooklyn Bridge, Freddy Cannon, Jay Siegel's Tokens, Bill Haley, Jr. & His Comets, I was overjoyed about this programming line-up. But after listening to suggestions by you and trying to top what we’ve done in the past, I decided to try to make 2016 even more special by bringing along phenomenal additions - some who have sailed with us before and some new first timers who were very important to the Malt Shop era.
I now feel very confident that 2016 will again be a Malt Shop Cruise that maintains our tradition of keeping this unbelievable music alive and having another week that will rival our previous experiences together.
