Congratulations to Freda Carter! She won the autographed box set in our Facebook writing contest with her story about meeting Dion. Thanks to all for sharing!
Freda’s story: It was the first morning of the cruise and there on the Lido deck was one of my absolute favorite artists — Dion! I told him I still live in the Bronx and play his music all the time as I drive down Crotona Avenue — and not just his classics but the great CDs “Yo Frankie” and “Deja Nu.” That night during his show he shared this story and dedicated “Teenager in Love” to me. I was thrilled — 16 all over again — and a teenager in love!
