Seating Procedures

One of our primary goals for the Malt Shop Memories Cruise is to establish a seating procedure that is easy to administer, is fair and allows our guests to fully enjoy all of the aspects of the cruise.

As part of this goal, every Malt Shop Memories Cruise Guest will have an assigned seat in the World Stage for each blue and gold show.

Early/Late Dining:

Each guest chose a specific dining and World Stage show time when they first booked their cabin. In order for everyone to enjoy the World Stage performances, you must adhere to your designated dining and show time. Before we set sail, you will receive your World Stage Seating Card which will be required for entry to your specific show time.

If you have selected the late show/early dining, you will be dining at 5:30 PM and will attend the 8:30 PM World Stage show. Your identification card will be gold and only guests with a GOLD card may attend the late show.

If you have selected the early show/late dining, you will attend the 6:00 PM World Stage show and the 8:00 PM dining. Your identification card will be blue and only guests with a BLUE card may attend the early show.

Doors will open 30 minutes before published show times to all guests.  With the implementation of assigned seating, there is no need to arrive early.

SAFE Seating:

SAFE Program: Due to our assigned seating program, guests who require special seating in The World Stage must complete the Special Assistance Form for Entry (SAFE Form) within two weeks of booking to ensure seats are assigned with guest’s accessibility in mind. Upon review of the guest’s SAFE form, the guest will be assigned a seat most appropriate to fit their needs stated on the form.

2026 SAFE SEATING FORM

Guests sailing on our 2025 cruise should have already completed their SAFE Form, as the deadline to do so has passed. However, we do understand that your accessibility needs may change between now and sailing time. If this is the case, please fill out this form, and send an email to our customer service representatives at info@maltshopcruise.com to let them know of any changes.

Requirements for Entry:

All guests need to have their World Stage Seating Card with them to gain entry to The World Stage. Guests will receive their seating card once onboard.

Your World Stage Seating Cards will contain the following information:

  • Your Name
  • Seat Number
  • Suggested entrance to the theatre
  • Blue or Gold coloring which signifies your show time
  • BLUE cards indicate you’re attending the early show/late dining. GOLD cards indicate you’re attending the late show/early dining.

NOTE: NO changes in show or dining time are possible. Seating cards will be checked by staff at the theatre entrance to ensure compliance and ushers will be present in the aisles to ensure all guests are sitting in the appropriate seat.

Entrances:  There are 4 entrances to The World Stage for guests:  Deck 2 Doors (Port), Deck 2 Doors (Starboard), Deck 3 Doors (Port) and Deck 3 Doors (Starboard).  The World Stage Seating Card will have a suggested entrance to the theatre.

Ushers:  Ushers will be posted at every entrance and inside The World Stage to assist with the seating process.
