We are busy finalizing the nightly themes and parties for our rock n roll party at sea this year. We are excited to announce that some favorite gameshows and events will be back and a few NEW events are being planned. Here’s a sneak peek…
Malt Shop T-shirt contest and pool party is back. We will be mailing your t-shirts (along with your important documents) in mid-September. This gives you plenty of time to decorate and bedazzle your shirt. We saw quite a few creative versions of the red t-shirt last year! We will have a brand new color this year.
Our “talent show” is back again! It’s called Going, Going, Gonged, and if you missed last year, we encourage all passengers with a hidden talent to sign up onboard! So start preparing now. Make sure you pack your backing materials and tracks. Each performer will have two minutes to dazzle the panel of celebrity judges and your fellow cruisers. Audience participation encouraged in the form of cheers and applause. (We will leave the gonging to the judges.)
Vow renewal ceremony on formal night this year! Our special celebrity host will conduct the onboard ceremony for all couples celebrating their love of each other and rock and roll. Truly a magical and fun way to begin your prom night…it’s like getting pinned all over again!
NEW in 2015—Autograph Sessions! Who doesn’t love to come back from this cruise and show their friends the Malt Shop Cruise t-shirt or book signed by Frankie Avalon or Bobby Rydell. This year, we will be scheduling a few hour-long sessions throughout the week so you can get that chance.
