MALT SHOP MEMORIES ’13 NEARLY SOLD OUT; MALT SHOP MEMORIES ’14 TO BE ANNOUNCED

There is no doubt but that the Malt Shop Memories Cruise ’13 is a solid gold hit. In fact, it may turn platinum—fewer than 40 cabins remain as of today! It is still not too late to join us, so be sure to go online or call the office immediately to secure those last few reservations for what has become the #1 Rock ‘n Roll cruise in the world. Another reason to hop onboard is that shortly, on Sept. 16, the lineup for Malt Shop Memories Cruise ’14 will be announced and we will start cabin sales for that cruise! As you may know, from then until Nov. 12, 2013 (nearly two months), only guests on Malt Shop Memories Cruise ’13 will be able to complete reservations for that cruise. So booking Malt Shop Memories Cruise ’13 has added advantages as well.

ANNOUNCING NEW ONBOARD CONTEST

Got a hidden talent? Or maybe a not-so-hidden talent that you want to perform onboard in front of hundreds?

Malt Shop Memories Cruise is hosting our own version of “The Gong Show” this year. Hosted by our cruise host, Dane Butcher, you will get the chance to perform your talent for our celebrity panel of judges, Jerry BlavatBobby Rydell and Freddy Cannon!

Start practicing! Don’t let them gong you!

Here’s what you will need to know before you get onboard:

  • Each act will have up to 3 minutes to perform.
  • You will need to provide your music on CD.
  • Sign up sheet will be at the Hospitality Deck on the ship. Space is limited so make sure you sign up early. Limited to the first 12 acts.
  • Trophy awarded to the winner!

FEATURED ARTIST: FREDDY CANNON

Over the course of his hit-making career, this month's featured artist racked up an impressive 29 charting singles. His first hit zipped up the charts to No. 6 in 1959 and was quickly followed up with a No. 3 smash. But this early rocker is best known for his 1962 hit that was initially titled "Amusement Park" before being renamed "Palisades Park."
